Sally Frances recently retired rom a long trauma psychotherapy practice and just finished the 7th draft of a novel and her 75th birthday arrived 3 days after #YeahYouWrite! Her biggest writing distraction: Being nice to people.

Born in Trinidad & Tobago, Chelsea Forgone has a passion for plants & just finished text for an exhibit on Caribbean trees to open in February at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Her writing distractions are “The Golden Girls” and her husband.

Chai (he/they/she) is a NYC born and raised multimedia artist. He is an inventor, crafter of objects, singer, dancer, lover of the Truth. Her current biggest projects are TRICYCLE (a band) and Y& (a puppet show). Their biggest writing distraction is having so many hobbies and trying to find a new (perfect) notebook, since her old one is filled up.

Faria Chaudhry hails from the armpit of Turtle Island and tries to talk about jersey tomatoes in her writing as much as possible. Her writing distraction is having too much fun hanging out with writing friends.

Adeeba’s one-word bio: Mermaid. Her writing distractions are the call of the sea and libraries.
